Ted Nugent says he did drugs and stopped bathing to avoid the draft

Rocker and State of the Union attendee Ted Nugent is a vocal critic of President Obama and an outspoken supporter of the NRA. All that could make his 1977 High Times interview a little tricky for Nugent and his core constituency, which might think poorly of a guy who says he shirked his patriotic duty via a calculated combination of drug use and self-abuse. In the interview, Nugent gleefully claims to have avoided the draft with a 30-day plan that involved refusing to bathe, Polish sausages, crystal meth and pooping in his pants: "I was a walking, talking hunk of human poop ... I did it in my pants — poop, piss, the whole shot ... I knew I had these chumps beat." He later disavowed the pooping-in-his-pants bit.
